The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every aspect of our lives and the lives of every individual on earth since spring of 2020. Fortunately, it appears that the end may be near for us as life slowly returns to normal. We wanted to provide some updates to our patients about the pandemic and our continued response to this devastating virus.
1. We continue to require masks for all patients ages 3 and up while in the office. This is in compliance with federal guidelines from the CDC.
2. We STRONGLY encourage vaccination aginst COVID-19. We understand the signifcant amount of confusion and fear around this virus and this vaccine but want to assure our families that we are very supportive of this vaccine. Please do not hesitate to speak with your provider about your concerns with this vaccine. We have the Pfizer vaccine in our office for all ages, beginning at 6 months. We can vaccinate anybody, regardless of age or if they are our patient, as we are a certified vaccine center for COVID-19.
3. We continue to provide highly accurate rapid COVID-19 testing in our office with results in no more than 15 minutes. We can run a similar rapid Flu test on the same sample, limiting how many times we must swab your child's nose.
We understand this pandemic has been very trying in so many ways as it has affected all of us. We also understand there are a wide array of opinions about this pandemic and how things have been handled.
