If you are more than 20 minutes late for your child's appointment, we cannot guarantee they will be seen. This will be up to the provider and will largely depend on if they have space on their schedule to move them to. We understand sometimes things happen that put you behind, so please call us if you feel you are going to be late so we can make arrangements as best as we can.
We firmly believe that vaccines are one of the most important medical interventions to have ever been discovered and are critical to the health and well-being of all humans. Therefore, we require all school-mandated vaccines (this excludes influenza, HPV and meningococcus type B) be given on time according to the guidelines put forth by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). If you have questions or concerns all of our providers are highly educated on the topic and are open and willing to address these concerns. If you choose to not begin vaccines per their instructions, you will have 12 months to change your mind. If at that point you still choose not to vaccinate your child, your children will be dismissed from our office. If you have questions about this, please contact us.
Currently we require all patients under age 18 to be accompanied by a legal adult who is either their parent/guardian or has been designated by the parent/guardian as being allowed to accompany them.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for offensive language, explosive/aggressive behavior or other disruptive activities. Should this occur, you will be addressed immediately by one of our owners and, depending on the level of the offense, potentially dismissed from our practice. We are a pediatric practice with a building full of children and will not allow them to be exposed to this type of behavior while in our building.
